6 Transfers to go.. 65th week!

how is everyone doing? i hope all is well this week has went by super fast its by far been the fastest week on my mission. it was a really good week also we taught heaps of people and tracting this week was actually successful which is a first for me on my mission so that was really good we found like 5 potentials and 1 invited us in cause it was raining outside and we were all wet so i think they felt bad but it worked good for us. so transfers are here again and i thought i would stay but turns out i'm moving to bunbury which is exciting cause it is more of a country area so i'm excited about that but i will miss this area i've been in caue there are alot of great people here that i love heaps but thats ok i'm happy with whatever. but thats pretty much it for me thanks for all that you do love you all heaps Elder Dalton the photo is of one of the districts in the zone last transfer have a great week

I was glad to hear that there was lots of support from people at the funeral and what not. thanks heaps for everything its nice to know that all is takin care of it helps me relax and not worry about things from home. as for the missionary work this week it was good we had alot of meetings but yesterday we had a great day we went on splits with the ward mission leader and a couple of recent convert and we saw heaps of people and taught i think 7 lessons which is always great i love teaching it just makes ya happy and we met a family who hasn't been to church in ages and only two of the kids are members and the one boy said he had been thinking all day i should go back to church and then we rocked up. god works in mysterious ways we have an appointment with them this week so i'll lets yous know more about it next week. but thats about all i have for this week just want yous all to know that i know this church is true and that all the trials we face we'll be for our benefit and will make us stronger and our saviour is here to help us always. 61 Weeks!

how is everyone doing? it is pday once again and i kinda feels like i just wrote home yesterday. so not much is new we had zone conference last week which was good we learned more about helping people make and keep commitments which is always an important thing its probably the most important thing in missionary work cause without commitments people can't really change. we found 2 investigators this week one is a younger lady we are pretty excited about teaching her she is kean as to learn but says she won't convert but as she learns the spirit can change that easy as we. thats about it for this week hope all is well thanks for all that yous do. the church is true i know it and i know that yous know it never forget it and remeber the basic 3 love yous Elder Dalton

60 weeks down!

so i have to start off this weeks email with a funny story so we went around to a less actives family yesterday and they were friendly and welcomed us in and we talked with them about church and family prayer and shared a thought with them but the funny thing was they made us scolding hot hot coco which was a great thought to give to us except it was around 85 degrees yesterday and in the house it was at least 85 haha so myself and my companion were sweating like crazy cause we didn't wanna be rude. ha it was good fun. but we had a good week we found one new investigator and had some real good lessons we taught these 2 blokes who were kean as but they live outside our area they were just house sitting so someone else gets them but thats alright its all the same work. but thats about it for this week and my comp is actually from caldwell i got it wrong my bad. but hes real good we are having fun doing the work its not to shy at all which is a good change he likes talking with everyone its fun we kind of chase people down sometimes too. hope all is well love yous Elder Dalton

Dearest Family, How was your week? What is new? My week was good nothin to exciting happened we found 2 new investigators that is always exciting. Transfer calls were today i'm staying in the same area but getting a new companion his name is Elder Robertson and i believe he is from Idaho falls so thats cool he has been an assistant to the president for the last 6 months and finishes his mission in 2 transfers so that'll be good hes a great missionary i'm excited to serve with him. i'll tell you more about him next week. But thats about all for this week. Wanted to share a scripture with yous though first is ether 12:4 its a favorite might have shared it before and the other is jacob 6:12 it reads "o be wise what need i say more" i love how simple and plain it is no misunderstanding that one. but conference was this weekend also it was heaps good i'm not to sure if i have a favorite i'm looking forward to rereading some and getting more from them but the first presidency's are always favorites and Elder hollands it was good. Hope all is well and that you have a great week love yous all. Elder Dalton

Week 58!

Gday hope all is well we had a decent week this week it was filled with meeting on wednesday we had zone leader council and on thursday we had interviews and on friday we had zone meeting and on tuesday we had stake council meeting so we didn't get to much time of being in our area this weekbut that happens sometimes. hopefully this week we'll get to spend more time outside talking with people. how has everyone been has dad gotten a new car? how is everything going for everyone. what was everyones favorite talk from conference? we get to watch it this week sorry its not a long letter this week just don't really have any stories cause we were in meeting alot but zone leader council is always cool cause we spend 5 hours talking about the mission and how it is going and what needs help and then president and the assiants give us the training on what we are to train the zone on its good fun we are focusing alot on using the book of mormon in everything we do as missionaries which is always good i love going over training for the book of mormon. i know it to be true and that is how poeple gain a testimony is through the spirit by reading the book of mormon. what a marvelous work. Love Elder Dalton.

57!

Hey family i emailed some pics to annie and she is gonna forward them to yous cause my computer is having a tough time or its the operator ha i'm not to sure but this was a good week nothin new the baptism went well last week and i almost gave a talk in sacrament but the lady ended up showing up the talk was gonna be on being an example of the believers maybe i'lll give it another time we had a cool experience yesterday when we went to visit an investigator to play touch with us cause he loves rugby but hes a minister for the 7th day adventence church sorry its spelled wrong most likely but he invited us to stay for lunch and of course we accepted hes samoan also so ya then we had a real good chat with him about the church and we shared doctorine back and forth and talked about bible scriptures and we were very similar and he seemed to agree with us except on the 7th day difference and so we said we would study it out more and get back to him and up until this point he didn't want a book of mormon but when we told him that he said well boys since your gonna do that for me give me a book of mormon and i'll give it a read and then we were able to talk about that invited him to read and pray and he said he liked how we depend on the spirit so it was a hectic visit it was great. thats about it for this week thanks for everything yous are all great hope all is well love Elder Dalton so here is some pics the first is me with the missionary that i trained elder peters and then the other missionary is the missionary that elder peters trained so in mission talk this is my son and grandson then the next is of one of the beaches we lived by its pretty ay? and the other is of one of the families in my last area they were awesome the Chan Boons they have 6 boys a great family. the nest two is me and my new comp elder cowley in front of the perth city. this week was a pretty good week nothin to new that i can think of but we had a baptism on saturday which was great he is 10 and his mom is a returning less active it was great those are always great but thats all i can think of for this week sorry its short hopefully you's enjoy the pics love you all

53 Full weeks..

So it was another good week not to much happened we got to do alot of service which was great and we did have a baptism in our area so that was cool they met him 3 weeks ago and he got baptised on saturday hes cool he'll be a good member i had the opportunity to interview him which was really cool thats fun to interview. It was a joint baptism with a mom and her 12 year old son who the zone leaders were teaching so it was a really cool day. oh and we had transfers today and i'm moving to the thornley area which is in the zone that i started my mission in so that will be pretty cool to go back to the same stake. thats all i can really think of as for whats new. i heard byu won there first game thats good to hear. as for my favorite food in australia it would probably be chop suay or a taro leave and corn beef dish but those are both polynesian dishes so not to australian ha but aussies eat a lot of sausages and there not the best to be honest ha so ya thats my favorite and the members feed us on average 1 to 2 nights a week probably depending on the area my new area i've heard is pretty good so we'll have to see. i'm sad to be leaving my area though cause i was really starting to enjoy it but it'll be good to meet new people and stuff again i'm excited. i think that is all i hope all is well. just remember i know the church is true and happiness only comes through living the gospel love you all thanks. Love Elder Dalton
